The story

Cotchy is a modern online bookkeeping and accounting team supporting businesses across Australia. The idea is simple: keep everything connected, organised and handled by people who know what they’re doing.

From monthly reconciliations and BAS to tax-ready financials, ASIC compliance and advisory support, Cotchy gives business owners one trusted place to turn when they need their numbers sorted.

Why it feels different

Accounting should help you move, not make you freeze.

Cotchy was founded by Melbourne-educated CPA, Pat Mannix, drawing on more than 35 years of experience advising Australian small and medium-sized businesses.

Over the course of his career, Pat led the growth of his family’s 47-year-old accounting firm, Paris Financial, helping shape it into the well-established accounting and business advisory practice it is today.

Advising business owners on corporate structures, investment structures and taxation gave him valuable insight into the challenges businesses face as they grow and the importance of having a trusted team working together.

After years of working with many businesses, Pat saw a gap in the industry. Too often, business owners found themselves acting as the middleman, between their accountant and bookkeeper, chasing information and trying to keep everyone on the same page.

Recognising that business owners wanted a simpler, more connected way to manage their finances, Pat joined forces with accountant and Co-Founder, Vishal Devle to establish Cotchy.

As Co-Founder, Vishal shares Pat’s passion for helping Australian businesses succeed through practical advice, strong relationships and exceptional client service. Together, Pat and Vishal have built a team committed to making the financial side of running a business simpler and less stressful.

Cotchy brings accounting, bookkeeping, taxation, corporate compliance and Virtual CFO & advisory services together under one roof.
